Charis Stylianou is the Director of Swiss Hospitality Neo and a Trusted Advisor to Hospitality Industry Organizations. He guides clients nationally as well as internationally on various projects, including business transformation and leadership. Charis’ work is defined by understanding opportunities and by providing a rigorous and structured approach to help Hoteliers manage and improve quality, performance and strategize a plan of action to maximize profits.
Charis is an experienced General Manager with over 25 years of exposure in the Hospitality industry, where he worked with premium industry leaders such as Leading Hotels of the World, Kanika Hotels, Louis Hotels, and Hilton Hotels. He has led effectively premium and luxury hotel brands, managed large turnaround assignments including reorganizations as well as hotel pre-openings, and contributed to an improved EBITDA. In his career he has built high-performing teams, developed innovative strategies, increased brand awareness, established new brands, and his hotels ranked as No1.
Charis earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management and Tourism from the prestigious Swiss Hotel Management School in Switzerland SHMS. He is a Lean Six Sigma Practitioner, a Professional Member of ISSSP International Society of Six Sigma Professionals, an Independent NED, and an Associate Member of NEDA Non-Executive Directors Association.
In his long-standing role as hotelier Charis has volunteered in contributing to Cyprus Tourism sustainability and development, through the Cyprus Hotel Managers Association where he serves as an ex-officio Member of the Board of Directors. When not consulting, Charis helps hospitality graduating students seeking guidance in preparation for their hospitality career, providing pro bono mentoring. Charis is an early riser, a nature lover, a bibliophile, is married and has a daughter and two sons.
